Covent Garden

I know England may look small  on a map to other people outside the UK. So the capital London is just one city right?? Wrong...London is actually made up of lots of different boroughs and can be either separated by that, or whether you live North of South or the river or the Zone you live in! There are also a variety of shopping districts as well just to make things even more slightly confusing! Convent Garden is one such area and it's a beauty. If you make a square from Tottenham Court Road, Holborn, Charing Cross and Temples tubes, the space in between is Covent Garden.

Covent Garden is home to  The Royal Opera House a must do/see for anyone visitng London. There is always something great to watch. If Ballet is your thing then a visit here is a must.  It's also a one stop shopping area for all your needs. For beauty, I suggest popping into Jo Malone, Chanel, Dior, Bobby Brown, Aveda. To read the full list then look  Here Covent Garden is really the perfect shopping district if you're after updsting your wardrobe. I mean I'm talking Burberry, Coast, Jigsaw, Karen Millen, Paul & Joe again full list Here

You cannot visit Covent Garden and not make time out for one of their markets or one of their fabulous food restaurants nearby. Jubilee Market dates back to 1654 but wasn't actually constructed into a market until 1904. On Monday, it sells Antiques.  From Tuesday to Friday it sells food, household goods etc and on Sat/Sunday it's devotes to all things arts and crafts.
If you're a big foodie then you most certainly have to make time to polish off a few dishes. There are so many great restaurants and cafes here that you really are spoilt for choice.
Covent Garden is one of my favourite parts of London to visit when the weather is warm, my other favourite is shopping on the Kings Road. I know a bit of a cliche but I love that stretch of London. Covent Garden is a very *outdoorsy* is that a word? Place to visit. Especially if you go there on a Saturday for the market. You should also bear in mind that it is a popular place to visit for the reasons I have given you above and can get very crowded. So do bear that in mind and keep your bags zipped and where you can see them at all time. Don't hang them on the back of chairs. I'm not trying to scare anyone but obviously where tourists shop, other people will this is an opportunity to take things that don't belong to them namely your expensive personal items.

This magnificent building below is actually an art installation that wraps around the market buillding while it undergoes a transformation. It covers 32,000 square feet and is called *Reflect London*

Bobbi Brown will be celebrating it's 25th Anniversary this year and to get people in the mood for celebration she has partnered up with Balthazar to bring you a special Bobbi Brown Afternoon Tea
As you can image all the cakes have been delicately prepared to look like a blusher, eyeshadow, lipstick. It looks so perfect. A really fun thing to do in you're in the area. This menu will run until the end of September this year, so get in quick. For more information click Here
Jeremy Scott is showing his work at the Galeria Melissa this year with the theme titled *Inflatable Dreams* yes that does include a lot of wacky blow up things. But it sounds like a lot of fun!
