5 Films I Can't Wait To See This Year!

A bit of a movie buff, I try to visit the cinema at least once a week. For me nothing beats the excitement of watching movies on the *Big Screen* yes I know we can watch movies at home, on our computers/ I-pads, phones etc but I'm a bit old fashioned that way. Besides it also gives you a rather good excuse to help yourself to a large selection of Pick & Mix!
Hail! Caesar!
This is the latest release from the Coen Brothers. These guys have been the brains behind a lot of  great films such as Burn After Reading, No Country For Old Men, Fargo....the list is endless...put it this way, anything these brothers create is worth a watch and anything with George Clooney in, is DEFINITELY worth a watch. Josh Brolin plays *fixer* Eddie Mannix who basically keeps all the film studio stars in line. When their main star Baird Whitlock played by George is mysteriously kidnapped it's up to him to discover who is behind this caper.  This is a comedy film by the way.... Channing Tatum provides some dancing magic to the screen. It also stars Scarlett Johannson, Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton.

Sing
*Sing* as you may have guessed already is an animation film. The film basically centres on a Koala named  Buster Moon voiced by Matthew McConaughey  who owns a theatre.  He decides to drum up business by hosting a singing competition and roping in his best friend. The guys behind this film were they same guys behind Despicable Me. The film also stars the voices of Scarlett Johannson (again) as Ash a punk porcupine  and Reece Witherspoon as Rosita a house wifed pig!! This film looks like a lot of fun and the big child in me cannot wait.

SUICIDE SQUAD
I'm sure I can't be the only one waiting for the release of this film in August. I've been watching clips of this film on Youtube since last year. It looks completely insane!! The cast is excellent. Jared Leo as  The Joker, I mean Hello!! A force of super villians is created by a secret government. Their job is to help with dangerous jobs in return for shorter sentenaces.  This film also stars a certain Cara Delevinge as June Moone. Also the excellent Viola Davis  from *How to get away with Murder* Roll on August.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
This  screenplay was created by a certain  JK Rowling, mmm....her name rings a bell! It's set in time before Harry Potter via New York 1920's. Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander who carries around a large suitcase full of magical creatures ( as you do!) The film also stars Samatha Morton who was recently in Cider with Rosie on TV, Carmen Ejogo from the brilliant  film  Selma  as well as Erza Miller, Ron Perlman, Colin Farrell....there's a lot of well known names in this film but who wouldn't want to be associated with a JK Rowling production?

The Legend Of Tarzan
I'm sure most of you will have read about Tarzan as a kid. An orphaned child raised by gorilla's.   Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) stars as Tarzan himself . I hope he is semi naked for 90% of the film in this, Sorry (no I'm not really...did you watch his scenes in True Blood?? Like DING DONG!! In this film he is living in central London and is called out to his former existence. One of the reasons I'm also excited about seeing this film is because  it stars one of my favourite actors Christoph Waltz. Margot Robbie also stars in this as well....a future star no less as she seems to be in everything going!

What films are you guys excited about watching this year??
